Hi
I continue the thread from www.sourcecoast.com/forums/non-commercia...-with-patch-to-j-346, that was closed.

I have joomla 3.4.8 and SCLlogin version 4.4.0.
I have the same issue, the login redirect to profile page and no to internal url that I want.
I changed the code that says Alex in helper.php but this don’t work.
Is the solution the update of the module to 4.5.3 version?
The update is no ready in joomla administrator, for this, Can I only replace module files through FTP?

Please if you know another solution for to redirect login to a page that I want, tell me.

The code change ended up being more complicated than the code posted in the thread, to work with multiple configurations. We would highly recommend upgrading to the latest SCLogin module. If you really don't want to upgrade, then please download the newest package and compare the helper.php file that's included with the file on your site to get the latest changes for this bug fix.

Hi
I updated the module to version 4.5.3 and the error continues. I have configured for the login redirect to an internal page of the site. What else can I do?

Can you create a test account for us, like username: test / password: test and let us know the URL of your site to test? Once we can see the issue, we can investigate further to understand what's going on.

Since the latest SCLogin release, we haven't heard of this issue before. Just to make sure, you did upgrade all the files to 4.5.3, correct?

Thanks,
Alex

Hi
I upgraded the module via FTP replacing files since I do not have the possibility to do it through the joomla administrator.
I thought it was done, but still showed version 4.4.0 on joomla extensions manager.
Now I returned to replace the files via FTP but still shows version 4.4.0. Is not a permissions problem, because there are 755 and 644 and no a server problem, I asked.
Please the site is www.aprendeconenergia.cl, the login are in the right in a dropdown.

Just replacing the files will not upgrade the version number that Joomla thinks is installed. There is an entry in the Joomla database table for extensions that has the installed version number.

The version in the database is 4.4.0. Then I could not updated.
Why there are not updates through joomla administrator? I don't understand why the update don't work through FTP. I know that maybe my problem is becoming a problem of update and not the problem that led me to post here.
Really, I don't know how to fix it.

I'm unsure why you can't update from the admin area. What happens when you try? We use the standard Joomla update system and we haven't heard any issues of users not being able to update.

Are you able to update other extensions using the update manager, or does this affect all extensions? If it does affect all, I think there likely is an underlying issue with Joomla that would need to be fixed first.

Beyond that, can you let us know a few things:
* Does the "Same Page" option work if you setup the redirect that way?
* What kind of link type are you trying to redirect to -- what component is it for and what view?

Thanks,
Alex

Uf! I discovered that the SCLogin in Update sites in Extensions manager was disabled and the system was not getting the update alerts. Now I fix it and updated the module via the Joomla updater. Now I have version 4.5.3. (thanks!)
But the module still redirected to the profile page.
The component in relation with SCLogin is Ajax register, where I have the redirection to "Redirect URL", to a internal K2 item page, because in SCLogin I don't have the chance to redirect to a specific page.
This combination of AJAX Register and SCLogin was armed by the person who built the place to start. I received this site in this way and it was working fine, without problems in the login.
Everything changed when I upgraded Joomla and other extensions (not ajax register).
You can help?
