First of all, thanks for developing this plugin and distributing it non-commercially.

Force Password Change would be the perfect plugin for my needs, except that when logging in as a user, I can't get past the login page. When I enter the new passwords and click Save, the page just reloads.

This is on a local MAMP installation--could that be the issue? Also, we're using Jomsocial--do you know of any conflicts with that?

Thanks!

We're also using A User Manager. Could that be the source of the conflict? Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the delay in responding to this, somehow we missed this post.

I'm not sure why you're having a continuous redirect to the login page. To get an idea of the flow causing issues:
* Create account
* Login
* ForcePassword redirects you to your details page
* On hitting save, it seems like ForcePassword redirects you again to your details page

If you disable the plugin, does logging in work as expected? The way FPC works is by looking at the users' last visit date to see if it's set to "0000-00-00 00:00:00", meaning they've never visited. Can you test a few different cases with and without the plugin enabled to see if the last visit date is changing after the user first logs in, and when it's actually changing? If it stays at 0000, then FPC is acting normally, but something's obviously up as that date should change.

Thanks!

Thanks for replying. We worked-around by modifying the plugin to redirect to the JomSocial password change page rather than the Joomla user details page, which seems to have solved the problem. Hopefully this will be of help to other users using JomSocial or other extensions which manage users.

Thanks again for developing the plugin and releasing it non-commercially; it does exactly what we need!
