I want to integrate js-job (joomla component) profile integration with Jlinked profile integration.please let me know how can i do it
i have tried but i have no luck
please help me
any help is greatly appreciated
Thank's in advance
Can you describe more about what you're trying to do, what you've already tried, and what is or isn't working? I can't really tell if you're trying to import profile data from LinkedIn into a user's profile or show LinkedIn widgets (company, apply, etc) on a user's profile page.
We don't have any integration with JS-Jobs right now. It's something we may be able to look into further, but how quickly we could help would depend on what level of integration you're looking for.
I want to copy the linkedin data to JS-jobs profile,
if you have any plugin that copy the linkedin data to JS-jobs profile
so please provide me the plugin or any idea
please help me
We don't have a profile plugin for js-jobs. It's something we may look into in the future, but not something we have planned or that I could give you an estimate on.
If you contact the developers of js-jobs, we'd be happy to work with them on a profile plugin. Alternatively, we do have a "Custom Database" plugin that we're testing right now which lets you import profile data into any database on your server. If the js-jobs database tables are done in the way we support, that may be an option to get you going. You'd need to be familiar with how js-jobs stores profile data in your MySQL database, and, again, that may require some information from their developers.
We'll gladly help how we can though, so let us know if you have any of the information above or if you contact the developers and if they're interested in working on a profile plugin for JFBConnect and JLinked (supporting Facebook, Google+ and LinkedIn integration for their extension).
I apologize for the delay in responding. We just uploaded the CustomDB plugin. It's hopefully pretty straightforward, but here's the quick directions:
* Leave the Database Name, User, and Password fields blank if you are storing into the same database as your Joomla installation.
* Set the Database Table Name field to whatever table you want to save data into.
* Click "Apply Changes"
Then, enter the column name of the row to 'key' your data off of. This would generally be the user_id column in the table that would be the same as the Joomla user ID.
In the bottom you should see all of the column names from your table to select the profile data to import into.
I hope that helps, but if you run into any issues, please let me know. As always, I'd highly recommend using this plugin on a development site. We have tested it extensively and other users are using it, but I don't want it to overwrite profile data on accident.
