I apologize for the delay in responding. We just uploaded the
CustomDB plugin
. It's hopefully pretty straightforward, but here's the quick directions:
* Leave the Database Name, User, and Password fields blank if you are storing into the same database as your Joomla installation.
* Set the Database Table Name field to whatever table you want to save data into.
* Click "Apply Changes"
Then, enter the column name of the row to 'key' your data off of. This would generally be the user_id column in the table that would be the same as the Joomla user ID.
In the bottom you should see all of the column names from your table to select the profile data to import into.
I hope that helps, but if you run into any issues, please let me know. As always, I'd highly recommend using this plugin on a development site. We have tested it extensively and other users are using it, but I don't want it to overwrite profile data on accident.
