Not yet. We're working on a simultaneous release of JFBConnect and JLinked for v3.0. JFBConnect is in beta right now. JLinked will go straight to release.
We're hoping to have both out toward the end of next week, if all goes well.
Hope that helps explain,
Sounds good. The releases are both going through testing now. The current expectation is to have them out on Wednesday, which seems very likely.
Thanks for your patience,
I am waiting for the Jlinked for joomla 3.0 too that is why i came here today :-)
But can you tell e if this jlinked can be used for what i am looking for i need to extract my linkedin profil and show it on my joomla site as a personal online resume not for a community or anything like that.
JLinked for Joomla 3.x will be available next week. As for importing a user's profile from LinkedIn, yes, it can do that. JLinked can import a user's avatar and profile information into JomSocial, Community Builder, Kunena, Virtuemart and K2. We have an easy to use plugin system that you could use to create your own import into another extension or database as well if you'd like.
Hope that helps answer your question,
I have been on your demo site and it looks like it just gives a smal box om joomla. and not a full personal resume. is that correct ?
and the i need to create a new page for wich i can drag in the information that Jlinked is pull in from linkedin ?
Am i right ?
There's multiple things you can do. You can use our profile integration to import a user's LinkedIn information into Community Builder, JomSocial, Kunena, or other extensions that have profiles. That's how you can display a profile easily, without having to create it yourself.
Additionally, we support the "Member Info" and "Company" widgets, which can display LinkedIn user's info around your site if you want. A good example of this is at the bottom of a Joomla or K2 article as an "About the Author" type thing which will show their LinkedIn info.
Hope that explains a little, but if you have more questions, just let us know.
The Joomla 3.0 version of JLinked is now available. We also created a JLinked - Joomla 3.x support forum in case you run into any issues.
Thanks for your patience, and we look forward to your feedback,
