While we'd still like to add the possibility to post to a user's wall, Facebook really recommends not doing this on an automated basis unless you're really, really sure the user wants you to do that. It is still something we may implement, but we try to protect our user's from Facebook's (ever changing) Terms of Service, and this is something we'd approach very carefully. Doing it yourself is possible with JFBConnect. It'd take a little more work to store the user's offline access token (something we're planning to do in the 4.2 release in Q1) and then using that token to post a status message to FB (very simple, as we already have that functionality included).
With that said, with the upcoming 4.1 release (due this month), we're working on implementing Facebook Requests. These will allow anyone on your site to more easily invite their friends to your site or to specific pages on it. We're also working (and if all goes well, it will be included) on allowing admin requests to your users. For example, create a blog post.. then, create a Facebook Request that will go to all your users: "<App> thinks you should read the new blog post!". Both user and admin initiated requests will go in the standard Notification 'jewel' area of Facebook, and be great for getting return engagement from your users.
Hope that helps,
Alex
alzander wrote: While I understand your desire, it's simply not in JFBConnect. It is something we're still looking on adding, but again, we need to be on the safe side with what we implement. Even if we notify user's of the ToS's of Facebook, if enough people abuse it, Facebook can come back to the source (us), and that's not good.
As for your specific needs, there's a few notes:
* Again, in the 4.1 release, we'll have a way to send notifications to each user of your site. It won't be seen about their friends, but still a good start for getting the word out to already interested users
* In the current release, you could post the deal to a user's wall of anyone who's logged in through Facebook and purchased (or even just looks at the deal) with 3'ish lines of code.
* If you have a developer already, they can extend JFBConnect a little to simply store the offline token, and then use JFBConnect to send the messages however you want.
Hope that helps, and thanks again for your feedback. Around the 4.2 release, when we start storing the offline access token, this should become pretty simple then as well.
Good luck,
Alex

So, the week after next (starting the 19th) seems possible if all goes well, the week after that if we hit a stumbling block.
Very excited for this release now that it's all solidifying very well! Thanks for your patience, and like all feature releases, we think it should be worth the wait
