It does the login/ logout part, nothing to complain on this side, but totally fails to import avatars in kunena or jomsocial, also the "push" part from FB seems to operate only on relogin the "update FB from JomSocial" fails completely also.

Could be conflict with some other plugin?

:((((
It has the same behaviour on a brand new Joomla 3.2 test site with only 3 extensions installed:

jomsocial (3.0)
JFBConnect
scLogin

no cover and no avatar photos imported, one empty jpg file under /TMP for every new user that comes from FB, everybody has all the rights on all the folders, now what?

Even more, in the community_users table, it overwrites the avatar photo (if I choose one) but not the cover at every login with FB.If it fails, shouldn't at least leave the table alone?

I removed JFBConnect and used only Jomsocial's login with FB, avatar imported without a problem (even if It's a little bit dated so I presume it's not some last momebt FB change)

This avatar & cover importing actually works? Because I see a lot of questions about it on this forum and to me it looks like totally not functioning.

Sorry for the delayed response. The avatar and cover photo importing should definitely be working, and has been for a long time. I'm not aware of any (recent) issues regarding the importing of either.

If the file is coming in empty, I can only guess that there's some communication issue with Facebook in trying to fetch the photo. I'm not sure what that would be and, again, it's not something we've heard of before.

Can you let me know what site your testing on and we'll gladly test a little on the front-end. If that doesn't help narrow things down, the next step would be to get admin access so that we can determine what's going on.

Thanks,
Alex

Very sorry for the delay. Your 'pristine' site isn't working right now, but I tested on the 'test' site. (I'm not sure if you mixed those up, also, since the pristine site is using a port).

Either way, yup, the avatar didn't import. I see you're using Windows though, which is less common for Joomla. We do testing with Windows, but it's possible we missed something with the avatar importing/saving or there's specific configuration settings we're not using for a Windows environment.

The best thing for us to test would actually be FTP access, since we'll need to edit code and debug the cause from here. Joomla super admin access could work if we can't get FTP since we can install a filemanager, but that's much more prone to complications. If you don't mind private messaging me credentials, please use the mail icon under my name to the left to do so.

Thanks,
Alex

Alex, recently within the last update of either kunena or JFBC My avatar imports have also stopped functioning.. I hadn't changed my FB avatar in a long time, now all of a sudden i am getting the no image avatar, (I tested manually setting a avatar, after login with Facebook the avatar reverts back to the no image avatar) the images are in the media folders and are valid.. something is just telling kunena that they are not there. (so I'm not positive entirely whether or not that it is a glitch on your end.

Kunena 3.5 and JFBC 6.03 on J3.2.3
