Brad,
Not sure why the SSL is showing as not valid. It could be an issue with our tool as well not properly detecting the certificate on your site. If it continues to be a problem in a few days, let us know. It may just be a propagation issue where we're not fetching a new certificate yet.

As for the logging in popup, try re-enabling that and the "Include jQuery" setting within the JFBConnect -> Configuration area and test again. That may include all the proper Javascript that you need to have enabled to get the popup to work.

I hope that helps, but if not, let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex

Thanks for the response. I can confirm the JQuery option works - I get a nice full screen msg to say its logging in via Facebook. If I turn it off again - it no longer works.

Canvas and Tab works but in Autotune I still get the msg:

A valid SSL certificate was not detected on your server. The recommendations below are set to disable this feature.

Canvas settings describe what page from your site should be seen when viewing your application on apps.facebook.com.
A properly configured Canvas is also required to properly send Facebook Requests.

Application SettingApp Setting JFBConnect Recommendation
Canvas URLValue should be blank
Secure Canvas URLValue should be blank

I'll ignore this for a few days see if it isnt just a DNS delegation issue.

Cheers
Brad

Yeah, just watch it for a few days as we may still be seeing the old IP address since it sounds like you switched. In the meantime, you can still set the Canvas URLs. Just use your home page URL in non-https and https mode for the Canvas URL and Secure Canvas URL, respectively. JFBConnect's recommendations are just that.. we won't prevent you from overriding them.

If the SSL still isn't detected in a few days, let me know. We had one case earlier this year where the security certificates on our Autotune server simply didn't recognize a specific brand of SSL certificates.. in that case, it thought SSL wasn't installed properly. That could be the case here as well.

Thanks,
Alex

Will do Alex.

Do you know why Auto login only works if I set

Show 'Logging In' popup = On

Even though

Auto Login Facebook Users = On ??

There's no relation between those two settings. My guess is that it's more a matter of how you are testing. The auto-login feature will not work in many cases to prevent aggravating behavior. Basically, if a user chooses to logout of your site, auto-login will be disabled for about 15 minutes. There are other ways that prevent the auto-login from working as well, but that's the easiest to explain.

To test, I'd recommend setting things up how you want and then clearing your browser cache and cookies (or at least restarting your browser). That will give it a 'fresh' state for when you visit your page to test the auto-login functionality.

I hope that helps,
Alex
