Hi,
we use
Joomla 3.2.0
Jomsocial 3.0.5.3
JFBConnect 5.2.1
SCLogin 3.2.1
We fix the problem with reset password with this solution :
alterbrains.com/blog/100-joomla-3-2-pass...sue-problem-solution
Actually the system works, we only have a last problem during the registration telling to the user the password is too long.
Concerning my problem with your mod :
- we translate the file fr-FR.com_jfbconnect.ini
But we still have the language in english, how can i fix this ?
Our site :
www.motoraddict.be
In joomla when a user register with Facebook or Google, the user is enabled but the statut of "Activated" is disable, why ?
By the way the user don't receive the mail to validate the registration, he just receive the welcome mail.
Perhaps it's important, we use Mandrill as smtp server for all messages on our site.
When a user register normally, he receive the validate registration mail.
Thank you for your support.
Regards,
Olivier

Glad to hear you worked out your password issues. Please note, those were not due to JFBConnect at all :)

I'm assuming you just copied the /en_GB/en-GB.com_jfbconnect.ini to /fr_FR/fr-FR.com_jfbconnect.ini and edited it, correct? That should just work, but also check your permissions for that file (it should be readable) and that the name is exactly right.

Also, please make sure each line of the fr-FR does *not* have a semi-colon ( ; ) in the front of it, or else those won't be used. If that doesn't help, can you post (or Private Message) the contents of your French translation? We'll gladly test to make sure there's nothing we see wrong.

Do you have the 'Skip Joomla Activation' setting enabled in JFBConnect? If so, that's the correct behavior. The user is automatically enabled and can log. The Activation column is disabled because the user never actually activated, but they can still login.

I hope that helps explain,
Alex

Hi,
thank you for your answer.
I don't have copied the ini file, because your pack already have this file.
The translation is incomplete but present.
Here is the file (in attachment).
fr-FRcom-jfbconnect.ini
CHMOD is like others : 644.
Thank you for the tip (skip validation).

Regards,
Olivier

Again, make sure that there is not a semi-colon at the front of the lines you've modified. It looks like you modified some strings, but did not remove the ; from the front of that line. Do that, and you should be good to go.

If that's not working, please let me know the exact string that isn't translating properly.

Thanks,
Alex
