The documentation is very helpful but a bit confusing for the slow pope like myself :B: . I enabled all opengraph plugins then tried to setup the tags from the backend. this is where I get confused. Your help in getting this setup to work would be very appreciated. Also, I have a music library content on my site, would it be possible to use opengraph to show what the users are listening on FB?

Thanks
Robert

Yes, you can use the music.listens action to automatically post to a user's Activity log the song they are listening to. Let's work on the other issue first though, as that's required first.

Can you tell me what you're trying to setup, where you've gotten, and what issues you're running into? We'll gladly help how we can, we just need to know where you're getting stuck and what kind of objects you're trying to create.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex, I am pretty much stuck at the beginning from the backend opengraph configuration =( . I would like to show on user activity when the user read, post or comment on a blog. Read, post in our forum, upload a pic or create an album on ES and post a status. Sounds a lot of help but I will manage once I get the hint of it.

Thanks
Robert

When you say ES, I'm assuming you mean EasySocial. We'll have Open Graph and profile import integration for that in the v5.2 release (due out next week, if all goes well).

For the read or other actions, if you haven't already, I'd recommend watching the video on our Open Graph Action setup page. That tries to guide you through the creation of an 'article' object, which you'd use for reading, posting or commenting on and a "use" custom action. You could replace the custom action section with a "comment" or "vote" if that's what you're looking for. There is a little bit to it, and you can check the example setup in that same section as well which shows how to setup an upload photo action in JomSocial.

Hopefully, that gets you started, but if you're still confused, just let us know where you're at and we'll help how we can.

Thanks,
Alex
