I'm running latest Joomla 3.x and JFBConnect. If I define a Social Tag Admin Key in the JFBConnect, I get the following display on articles:

if I remove the Social Tag Admin Key then I get the expected Like and Share icons and links.

Any ideas why it would do this?

I'm not sure. The key is meant to prevent the rendering of the tags if the key isn't set. The main purpose is to prevent your users from accidentally (or intentionally) adding Like buttons and other features to your site. Our content plugin will properly add the key to the social buttons, which you can see above in the code you pasted.

Now, for why it isn't being properly detected and replaced correctly, I'm not sure what's doing that. Can you check the following:
* Make the JFBCSystem plugin the first (lowest numbered) order so that it executes before other plugins.
* Try disabling caching in the Joomla - Global Config area and see if that fixes the issue.

Let me know if either of those help, and if it causes other issues, just let me know and we'll help clear those up.

Did both of those and it's till the same. If I remove the secret key, all's well.
