Status / Wall settings doesn't show :/

Honestly, you shouldn't be seeing the Status / Wall tab at all. It looks like the tab still remains in our Joomla 3.x version, but all of the settings have been properly removed.

Basically, late last year, Facebook updated their Facebook App Policies and stated that wall posts should never be made for a user without a) their consent at the time of post or b) the ability to edit the message being posted on their behalf. They also said (though not in their policies) that they really don't like posts to a user's wall when they register or login as those types of messages are generally of low quality and content.

So, in the v5.0 release, we put a big message saying "We don't recommend this feature anymore.. switch to using Open Graph Actions to post activity that users are doing on your site back to Facebook instead". In v5.1, we removed the feature entirely. The reasons for removal were because users were having their Open Graph Actions denied because their apps were violating policies. The next possible step that Facebook could (though we never heard of it) was banning the app itself.. which would be.. bad.

Whew. I hope that explains it all. In general, that feature won't be coming back, and we'll fully, really, I mean it this time, remove the tab name that has no function, in the v5.1.2 release later in September
