In the Social configuration area of JFBConnect, you can setup where the Comments box shows. If you don't want the box to show in the Blog view, set the "Show in K2 Category View:" to "None".
Another thing you can do is set the "Number of Comments:" setting to '0' in the Blog View section. Instead of the full comments box, that will show some text like "Number of Comments: 123". To see the comments, the user would have to click into the article.
