Login redirection

If you're trying to set a specific menu item to redirect to, can you tell us more about how you have multi-lingual set up on your site? Are you using the built-in language switcher plugin from Joomla? It helps to know how you've set up the multiple languages.

So the question is: is there a way to redirect the user on the same page (Artists and Venues) but in their respective language?

If you are setting JFBConnect to go to the 'Same' page (not a fixed menu item), it will return them to the page they came from. Once they register, we won't know any more details about what language they prefer over when they visit the page initially and either select (or browser detection chooses) a language. So, if 'Same Page' is set, it will always bring them to the same page they were on before they tried to authenticate without any changes to the page.

While we've used the language switcher, we're not super familiar with the ins and outs of it. One thing I would recommend is to change the "Language Selection for new Visitors" setting in the System - Language Filter plugin to "Browser Setting".

That setting should set the user's language to whatever their browser is set to and *I believe* will redirect them from other language versions of a page to the one detected in their browser. I can't guarantee that will work for our New/Returning User Redirection, but it's worth a shot due to how simple that change is.
