On my website, I use a K2 item as the welcome text on the front page. For this front page, I do not wish to have any of the social media like, share, etc buttons on this particular page. Is it possible to turn them off on specific items instead of having them on all K2 items sitewide?

It looks like you're adding the share buttons via the JFBConnect content plugin. There are options with this method in the JFBConnect > Social > K2 Like for excluding/including categories or articles. If you want to exclude specific items, then you can enter a comma-separated list of each item's ID. Otherwise, use the category option to exclude. If you're already doing this and are having trouble, please let us know.
