Hello, i have a joomla website (3.7.5) with JFB 7.0.3 installed.
Today i tryed to install the facebook messenger chat to the website manually (it's just 10 code lines to past in the <body>) but it does not work. If I turn off your plugin "system - JFBCSystem" the chat works fine.
If I update your component to the last version will I solve my problem? Or I have to do something else to have both working?

My first and obvious guess is that the JFBConnect install you're using is too old. However, sometimes we do conflict with other extensions that integrate with Facebook. JFBConnect uses the recommended javascript library from FB, but there are still some extensions that have not been upgraded to the current library - which causes login/social widget/etc functionality to break. Without seeing what you've added, I wouldn't know which it is. Could you point me to a URL that has the chat or provide the code that you added?

That being said, version 7.0.2 from 2 years ago is definitely outdated. Facebook has changed extensively in that time period. I'd be surprised if all of the functionality is still working in that JFBC version...

Thank you for your answer. Outdated version was my first guess too but the component is working perfectly and users still can register/login with facebook but before upgrading a perfectly working system I asked if this was a known issue as the messenger chat is not a joomla extension but a Facebook features (you have to copy/paste the code directly from facebook developers website).
About the links can i send them to you in private mode somehow? Thank you,
