Hi there, I bought this extension because it says it's not techie but I can't figure this out! Can you please help me... I am trying to get twitter cards installed on our site. I don't need any of the other elements, it's just that part I am struggling with. I've been through the step by step but it just makes no sense to me, sorry.... Please let me know...

Thanks

Regine,
By default, JFBConnect will automatically add some Twitter card tags to your site. To double check that this basic automation is setup, in the JFBConnect administration area:
* Go to the "Social Meta" section
* Ensure that the "Twitter Cards" -> Enabled setting is "Yes"
* Set the Website and Creator Username settings to your Twitter profile

Also, make sure the JFBCSystem plugin is enabled.

With that, every page on your site generally should have the following tags ready for Twitter:
* Title,
* Description
* Type (summary, summary with large image, app, etc)
* Your twitter username

Beyond that, you can enable the Open Graph - Content plugin. That will automatically set an image for any Joomla articles on your site to be used in the Twitter Card.

If other Open Graph plugins were installed with JFBConnect (proper ones are detected and installed automatically), go ahead and enable those too.

At that point, things should work in an automated manner.

However, if you want, you can override or set Twitter (and Open Graph for Facebook) tags specific to any page if you want to tweak things. To do that, simply add the following tag to your content to set the proper value:
{SCOpenGraph twitter:title=My Great Twitter Title}
That will override the automatic Title setting and use your more specific title.

I hope that helps explain things, but should you need anything else, please don't hesitate to let us know.

Thanks,
Alex
