Hi SourceCoast team,

I have JFBConnect installed on my site for over four years, and all the time everything works like a charm.

Until yesterday night. All of a sudden users get the "We were unable to retrieve your Google account information" message.

I didn't change anything, you didn't change anything, so I'm figuring something changed at Google.

The site heavily depends on the Google login; at this moment, no one can login (and it's their intranet, so baiscally, no one can work right now). Which means I'm kind of... well, in panic.

Do you have any idea what might be going on here? And how to solve it?

Thanks!

Anja

OK found it. This is what I did: enable debugging in JFBConnect. That resulted in a nice and clear error message: "could not resolve host: accounts.google.com; Name or service not known."

I searched on this error in your forum and found a couple of answers pointing at the hosting provider (related to Facebook, but I figured this concerns pretty much the same thing). So I called the hoster.

Turns out the host had their server updated and "forgot" to reboot it. Once they rebooted the server, everything was working as should.
