Can you help explain a lot more about what is happening?
* When do you get this error? I'm assuming when you're trying to authenticate, bu unsure.
* Was this functionality working previously? About when did it start breaking?
* Did you update to JFBConnect v7.2.6, released yesterday? Is that when the issue happened?
* Do you have any Social Profile plugins enabled? If so, can you disable them and see if the issue goes away?

Beyond that, I'm assuming the message you posted above is exactly what you see, but if not, let us know the exact wording of the error message you see and we'll gladly help investigate.

Facebook is changing quite a bit right now and we're releasing updates to improve compatibility. For more details, please see:
www.sourcecoast.com/blog/facebook-is-cha...-jfbconnect-is-ready

It sounds like you're authenticating with an account that hasn't used your app/website in more than 60 days. The user should need to re-authorize your app, but JFBConnect should already handle that properly. It's possible there's something we're not doing correctly.

If there is something we can do better, we'll get it worked out.

Thanks,
Alex

Oh.. one last question... have you setup any Channels for the user that you're trying to login with? That adds a few additional permissions, which are some of the ones that Facebook is really trying to tame with the privacy updates. It's possible the Channel is what's causing some of your issues.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi,
my component is just update to the last version JFBConnect v7.2.6.
The error appears when in the configuration of the channel I select the user (user logged in my site with Facebook), and then select the page I want to stream (I am administrator of this page).
It's my first configuration.
I have installed two plugin:
- Authentication - JFBConnect Social Integration
- User - JFBConnect Social Integration

If i enable plugin "Authentication - JFBConnect Social Integration" and then save the configuration of new channel appear this error message:
"Error
Facebook API Error: (#200) Access to this data is temporarily disabled for non-active apps or apps that have not recently accessed this data due to changes we are making to the Facebook Platform. developers.facebook.com/status/issues/205942813488872/"

I'm waiting for you
Thank you

If you are trying to setup a Channel, you need to set it up for a Facebook user who is an admin of the Page *and* an admin of your Facebook app. Right now, Facebook isn't allowing non-admin users to get new permissions for apps because they have disabled the review process, which is required to grant new permissions.

That sounds really confusing when I write it, but hopefully that's clear.

Facebook has not announced when they'll re-start the review process so that normal users of your app (guests) can grant other permissions over the basic permissions.

If you're setting up the Channel for a Facebook user who is an admin of your app as well, let us know. That still may be something Facebook restricting, but it's something we can look into further if that's the case.

Thanks,
Alex

Sorry,
but I did not write that I'm the "Facebook user who is an admin of the Page *and* an admin of your Facebook app"...but I'm the owner and admin of:
- The Facebook account it's mine.
- The Facebook page that i want to display on my site it's mine.
- I've created the Facebook Application exacltly as written in your tutorial...I'm the owner and the admin
- The Host Domain and Joomla Site are mine

But it does not work...surely I will miss something

I just wanted to let you know that we're looking into this further. Facebook has changed a lot recently and the Channels feature is still working for most users. We're investigating a few cases where importing the posts from a Page aren't working right now.

Can you let us know a few more things:
* Did you just setup this channel for the first time? Or was this a working Channel that stopped?
* Around when did you create the Facebook Application?
* Where are you seeing the #200 error - when you try to login using Facebook or in the Channels area of JFBConnect?

Thanks,
Alex
