Hi

Please can you advise how to get multiple social buttons, generated by multiple instances of the SC Social Widget, aligned across a single module position? By default mine are appearing one underneath another, i.e. going down the module position not across it.
Thanks
Nick

The SCSocialWidget is for putting a single widget in the module position.

Since you're looking for multiple like/share buttons for each of the social networks, I'd advise using
1) The JFBCSocialShare module (like shown below on sourcecoast.com) - you can float this around the page like we're doing or put it in a standard module position
2) The content plugin to automatically add to each article - configure this in JFBConnect backend > Social area in the correct tab for the Like button
3) Use our Easy-tags and put them in a custom module or any content on your page. This works if you want to add them to an existing module. You could just do a template override and add something like {JFBCLike}{SCLinkedInShare} etc... You can see the list of easy-tags in JFBConnect backend > Social > Examples area.

Thanks Melissa and I am sorry for the delay in responding to your kind help.

I have reviewed and revised how I intend to use the various SC options on one site. I now want to use SC Social Find Us to provide links to Facebook, Twitter and Flickr sites, AND several instances of SC Social Widget to initiate Facebook share & like, and twitter feed and follow, respectively. These work fine but the button styling is inconsistent - the Widget buttons render with rounded corners whereas the Find us buttons have squared corners. So my question is now a different one: can button styling be tweaked under parameter control?

Thanks again, Nick

Button styling can not be tweaked in the parameters. Each social network generally sets the styles for their buttons and outside of what we offer, there isn't much that can be done there.

With that said, the SCFindUs module uses images and a stylesheet to show the buttons. Those are just links to each social network, so it's not under each social network's control how those buttons look. You can change out the images or add rounding to each image via the CSS file. To see either, look in the /modules/mod_scsocialfindus/assets directory.

I hope that helps explain, but if you need anything else, please let us know.

Thanks,
Alex
