Hello

I use EasySocial with JFBConnect integration and in ES settings, I chose to import avatar and cover from Facebook.

When a user tries to register with Facebook (JFBConnect), at the step "Appearance" where the Avatar and Cover fields are supposed to be displayed, these fields are not showing...
Please see the attached snapshots, registering with JFBConnect and registering normally without Facebook (which works fine).

Note that if the user skips the "Appearance" step, avatar and cover are retrieved from Facebook to create ES user profile, as expected.

Unfortunately, there's not a way we can fix that. EasySocial's registration flow has the default avatar / cover photo area built in to show a greyed out picture. There's not a method to override that. If you turn of the "Show Imported Fields" setting, so the user won't see any fields that will have data imported into them, the avatar and cover photo section should be hidden during registration. Beyond that, I don't think there is much we can do.

On my site, "Show Imported Fields" in JFBConnect settings is set to Yes... From what you're saying, Avatar and Cover Fields should show, no?

The opposite is what I meant. We *can't* override the 'shadow' pictures that EasySocial uses in their registration flow. Instead, I'd recommend you set the "Show Imported Fields" to "No" so that the avatar / cover upload fields do not show at all.

My issue is not about having 'shadow' pictures, it's about having nothing at all... And this happen whatever I set the option "Show Imported Fields" to (Yes or No). In my initial message, the snapshot where fields are displayed with 'shadow' pictures is when I do not use JFBConnect.

You seem to say that when "Show Imported Fields" = No fields will not show, and when "Show Imported Fields" = Yes they will show with 'shadow' pictures. But that's not the case.

We'll have to do some further testing then. Can you let us know what version of Joomla and EasySocial you're using?
