JFBConnect is able to import much more data and information from each of those networks. The avatar, cover photo and the user's profile data all take some extra time to download. Additionally, depending on your server configuration, there can be connectivity issues with fetching the information from the social network's remote servers.
The best way we recommend narrowing things down to determine where the delay is coming from is:
* Disable all the Social Profile plugins. Test again. If there's a large speed-up, then
* Re-enable only one social profile plugin at a time (if you have more than one enabled). In the settings, disable everything (no avatar or cover import and no profile fields). Test again.
* Then, start re-enabling each feature individually and test the connection time
Through that process you should be able to narrow down a specific setting that may be causing extra delay. Once you know that, let us know what it is and we'll gladly help investigate further.
One other thing to do is set the "Enable Debug Mode" in the JFBConnect Configuration area to "On". If there are any error messages during authentication, let us know what those are as well.
I hope that helps get things going,
Alex
