Issue with Facbook Avatars

After the images are saved in the /tmp directory, they are processed and moved to either of the following directories:
/images/cover/
/images/avatar/

Check if those directories (and the parents) have the correct permissions and ownership. In general, 777 isn't recommended, specifically if you're on a shared host.. but it's not the best solution even if you're on your own server.

Well, the avatars are not being shown. Where else could be the problem???

I'm unsure. Can you tell me if you're able to update the avatar using the JomSocial Edit Profile feature? If you can't do it there, then JFBConnect wouldn't be able to do it either, and you'll need to narrow down the cause of that.

Thanks for testing with a different account. The "Failed copy" is an indicator of a permissions issue.

Can you tell me if you're able to update the avatar using the JomSocial Edit Profile feature?

It will really help to know if the standard JomSocial update avatar feature works outside of JFBConnect altogether.

The only permissions I can think of are the ones I mentioned above. If the JomSocial ability to upload avatars isn't working, I'd recommend contacting JomSocial's tech support. They know their own extension inside and out and may know what is going wrong with the avatar upload.

Once that works in JomSocial, if you still have issues with JFBConnect's avatar import, let us know and we'll gladly help however we can with our product.
