Hello! Really good extension.
I have setted all up but it seems like JFBC its not Importing Facebook Image and basic data to Jomsocial, the site is www.ukkis.com

Also when i try to setup the PageTab/Canvas I always get stuck here, after i have refreshed an relogged from FB and here.
File Attachment:

And last, is there any place where i can put a little "Like/share" button from facebook aside of each activity in JomSocial?

Please make sure you've enabled the Social Profiles - JomSocial plugin and configured it in the JFBConnect -> Profiles -> JomSocial area. If you've done that and things still aren't importing, let us know.

Also when i try to setup the PageTab/Canvas I always get stuck here, after i have refreshed an relogged from FB and here.

This is an issue we've diagnosed and are fixing now. We should have a release out later this week to resolve this issue. If you're in a rush, we can give you a minor code change that should get things going for you sooner.

And last, is there any place where i can put a little "Like/share" button from facebook aside of each activity in JomSocial?

This is a pretty frequent question and, unfortunately, the answer is that we wouldn't recommend it. While it *is* possible to do, the way that Likes work would make the behavior unexpected. The Like button is based off of a specific URL. JomSocial doesn't create a unique URL for each status update, which means that the Like button would be for the user's profile page or the general activity stream for your site. Then, when a Like is clicked, the URL that is shared to Facebook would be a very generic/general page on your site and, later, may not even contain the post that was originally Like'd.

I hope that make sense, but if not, or you have any questions, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

But I still cant import the basic data, with the plugin enabled, this are the settings :

The app was sent to revision, but right now i want to show at least avatar ant the basic info i can get without extra permissions.

Thank you!

The gender and locale information are being imported. It's just the avatar and cover photo that are not. Can you check a few things for me that will help narrow the problem down?

* What version of JomSocial are you using?
* Are you storing avatars locally or using cloud storage, like Amazon S3? (If you're unsure about this, that's fine)
* Can you check the temp folder for your Joomla (usually /temp from the Joomla directory) and see if there are image files in there with names like:
scprofile_123_pic_tmp.jpg (123 could be any number)
If so, try to open one of them and see if it works. If so, that means that JFBConnect is properly downloading the images but storing them in JomSocial isn't working for some reason.

Once we know the above, we should be able to help get you going better.

Thanks,
Alex

Exactly, the images are not being imported, the other stuff is right.

- * What version of JomSocial are you using?
3.2.0.4 (Subscription expired so i cant update)
- * Are you storing avatars locally or using cloud storage, like Amazon S3? (If you're unsure about this, that's fine)
Locally
- * Can you check the temp folder for your Joomla (usually /temp from the Joomla directory) and see if there are image files in there with names like:
Well, i have granted 777 permissions to /tmp but I dont see anything related inside there or in /media/sourcecoast/

I dont have any trouble in grant you admin info via private if you need it?

Can you Private Message me a set of super admin credentials for the site or set the password on my account? The account that was created with my Facebook account didn't have a password created, so I can't login to the admin area with it.

I'll gladly take a look to see what's happening in the admin area. However, it seems like a file-system issue with storing the avatars, so I'm not sure if we'll be able to get to the bottom of the problem just from the admin area. There are some causes that can be diagnosed from there though, and we'll let you know what we find.

Thanks,
Alex

I just tried to login to the administrator area. The control panel (main admin home page) won't load. It just shows the attached:
File Attachment:

The message " Cannot open file for writing log" indicates there's a file permissions issue with Joomla writing to the filesystem. If the log file can't be opened, I wouldn't be surprised if images can't be saved either.

Are you seeing the same message in the admin area? Either way, it's a good clue as to where the issues are coming from: either permissions or ownership issues from the files or other restrictions on the filesystem in general.

Thanks,
Alex
