Does JFBConnect offers an option to configure the return URL for LinkedIn login and register?

so, if the user registers (they are sent to a new URL) and if they are already registered and login... they are sent to a different one.

Thanks in advance.

We have two redirection settings for social network logins. In JFBConnect > Configuration > General tab, you can set 'New User Redirection URL' and 'Returning User Redirection URL' which will provide the functionality you're looking for on registration versus just logging in later. These two settings work for all social network registrations/logins - we do not offer different URLs depending on which social network was used to login.

OK, what if i select a menu item for return (for new users only) and for twitter as it asks for email address after return (as twitter doesn't provide one by default.

Where would the user be sent for twitter?

It sounds as if you're saying that automatic registration is enabled, but since Twitter doesn't give the email address, you are going to JFBConnect's login/registration page. Once the user signs up here, they will be redirected to the same New User Redirection URL that you have set up. It doesn't matter if the registration is going through the automatic registration flow or the mini-registration flow; the same redirection URL will be used.

If this is not what you mean, please clarify.

So when a user hits the Twitter button to create a user:
1. The user will be briefly redirected to Twitter to authorize your app to use their account.
2. Once authorized, the user will be brought to the JFBConnect login / register page where they will enter the email, etc to create an account, even though automatic registration is enabled.
3. After the Register button is pressed, the user will then be logged onto your site and redirected to the menu item selected for New User Redirection.

For other social networks that do support returning the email address, such as Facebook, Step #2 will be skipped. A user will be created "behind the scenes". Then JFBConnect will go directly to step #3. If this is not the behavior you are seeing or if you still have questions, then please let us know.
