I see this: "If using the user creation mode of Full Joomla User, enable the "Show non-mapped required fields" setting in the Community Builder profile plugin. This will allow the user to fill in this information during registration."

But I don't see where you set the "user creation mode"? so I can enable "Show non-mapped required fields".

Sorry about that. With the new v5.2 release of JFBConnect, we cleaned up the settings a little bit and it looks like we missed that bit of documentation.

To let the user go through a form-based registration, you simply need to disable the "Enable Automatic Registration" setting. When disabled, a user account won't automatically be created and you can show extra fields to the user. You'll still have control over whether the username, password and email fields are shown though, so that you can provide a more streamlined registration process.

You should leave the "Registration Component" set for JFBConnect. We don't currently support using the Community Builder registration flow, though that's something we're investigating.

I hope that helps, but if not, let me know.

Thanks,
Alex

So I can't get required CB profile fields to show after FB authentication. I can get required Joomla profile fields to show. I have the setting in community builder profile Show Profile Fields => Required Only... But they won't show. Any ideas there?

Never mind. I didn't have the required CB field published in profile (which i'm not really using right now); so it didn't show up.

Ahhh.. good catch! I'm glad you found the issue. Of course, if you run into anything else, or have any other questions, just let me know.

Thanks,
Alex
