I just liked the home page article on your site without any issue. It also successfully posted to my wall, as expected.

What happens for you when you try? Have you made any changes to any extensions on your site lately (upgraded, installed, etc)? And finally, let us know what browser you were using when you tested.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex!
I fixed the existing Articles on the website with the Debugger at Facebook Developer. When I write new articles the problem still exists.

What did I do the in the last days? I switched in Joomla backend to URL REWRITE ON. I think since I changed this congiguration setting I have this problem.
I tested it with Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome.
Is it possible for you to take a look into my configuration? If you want I give you access to my site to get a deeper look in the configuration.
And sorry about my bad english....

Thanks for your help

Forget to insert type a url for one of the new articles. I did´nt debug this article adress with the facebook debugger. So you can see by yourself what I mean:

Karl,
I found a bug report on Facebook that describes your problem. There are many, many others experiencing this as well. It seems as though some sites it just started happening with for new content. Switching your URLs to be SEF changes all of your previous URLs, which made this bug kick in for all of your content:
developers.facebook.com/bugs/496305530382482

The good news is that the issue is widely reported and has a priority of "High", so it should hopefully get fixed pretty quickly. I'd still recommend hitting the "Does this repro describe your issue?" link on the page above and putting in your site details. The more reports, the higher the priority.

Hope that helps explain and hope Facebook fixes this issue up soon!

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,
after a busy week I had time to look a little bit closer into JFBConnect and Joomla today. I discovered 2 things that might be help other users which have same troubles.

1.) First of all I discovered why I couldn´t click on the SEND Button and the LIKE Button after writing and publishing an article. Here´s the answer:
If you write an article in joomla and you fill in the AuthorAlias Field then you get the Error which I had. You must not select the AuthorsAlias Name when writing an article. Just leave it blank

2.) If you fill in the Meta Description in Backend Administration Configuration then the text of an Article isn´t shown either in Facebook Send nor in Facebook Like if you have configured JFBConnect to show the eg. 300 chars of text. So you must not fill in the Meta Description.....

Hope that helps other users who have the same trouble like me to resolve this....

Karl,
Thanks for your feedback on what has worked for you. On Wednesday the 10th (the same day you posted), Facebook also put out a fix for their bug posted above.

Not sure about why the Author Alias field or Meta Description fields are causing issues. However, you may want to test again in case it's really not an issue, now that the FB bug has been fixed.

If those fields still cause issues and you would like us to look into it further, just let us know!

Thanks,
Alex

Hi have this problem too. I operate also on a website with Wordpress on board (so not with Jfbconnect installed). I can view "likes" in my history but not in on the wall of my Diary.
So i suppose it's not a jfbconnect issue

Yeah, that's what we're thinking too. I'm not really sure how JFBConnect could be causing that issue as it's mostly the Javascript code from Facebook that we're executing. If you're still having issues and you think it's something we should investigate more, definitely let us know.

Thanks,
Alex
