My website's facebook registration:

- The user clicks in Facebook login/register and he is redirected to a page. He gets an email where he has to click to activate his registration. GOOD
- My email account does not receive any emails notifying the registering user, however I can see him in my user manager joomla menu. OK
- When the user clicks in the email link, he is redirected sometimes to the homepage and other times to a blank page (that has the current template in it). How can I choose the redirecting page after the user has clicked in his email for verifying his account?
- How can I choose the email account that sends the notification for subscription to the registering user?. I could not find it in the JFBConnect configuration
- The user does not receive any automatic email after his account has been activated and enabled

I would like to disable Facebook login (I'll use regular joomla login), and just use the other JFBConnect social tools. How can I disable the plugin or extension to not get in any conflict with the regular Joomla login, while still using the other JFBConnect features?

Eduardo,
We can help you with the email questions above if you'd still like. Just let us know.

To disable the Login/Registration functionality of JFBConnect, simply disable the SCLogin module and JFBConnect - User and JFBConnect - Authentication plugins. Leave the JFBCSystem plugin enabled.

Then, we'd also recommend disabling the "Automatically login Facebook Users" and the "Integrate into Joomla Registration" setting in the Configuration area.

That will effectively disable any logins with Facebook on your site.

Hope that helps, but if you need anything else, just let us know!
Alex
