cache issues?

I noticed that when I'm logged in with Facebook already, the Joomla facebook Connect module recognizes my linked Joomla account as already logged in--except when it doesn't, which I am guessing is caused by the module being cached in a logged out state. Is this a known issue, and does it involve the system cache and/or the general module caching? There is not a cache parameter on the module.

With the jfbconnect module active I get "too many redirect" error screens when I browse to my home page and am logged into FB. Was just guessing it could be a cache issue.
