Feature suggestions: Fetch facebook events to Jomsocial Events

Event integration is something that's creeping up on our radar. We generally look into things as they become requested more often. With the integration of Page Tab integration in 3.4 and the OAuth2 integration in the upcoming 4.0, we're starting to get more requests for other features, like Events. I don't have any timeline on when we'd be able to get to something like that, but we do value the feedback!

Still no plans for the immediate future. There are a few other higher priority tasks ahead of this, and in general, integration with a 3rd party extension is going to be very taxing. We do like Rdbean's idea above of pulling in events (for display at least) into Joomla as a great starting point. Again though, it's not something we have a timeline on.

As we take care of issues that are requested more, this one will likely become the most vocal.. as we've got a lot of other great features in JFBConnect already. Our user's feedback does guide a lot of what we do, and we really do appreciate the feedback.
