JFB Invite was created by aquafx
Hi there, I have the JFB invite working on my site, however the page is too wide for my template, I need to limit the invite page down to 500px. I would normally just change the CSS to fix this issue, but the CSS that is needed to be changed is coming directly from facebook. How do I change the width?

All I can say is wait a day or two. We're prepping a very overhauled version of JFBCInvite which has 2 modes: Full and Condensed. Each of them has a lot more configuration options, and the Condensed view is fully style-able. The Full version lets you set the number of rows and cols for user pictures, but FB doesn't let you fully style that mode.

You can take a look at it on our demo site. Still some work to go, but again, should be up in a day or two. We'd love feedback when it goes up too!

Is the new JFB invite that was just released 2.1.0 does it have this feature in it? As the demo site has the module version small display and the main invite display.
If so where do I go to configure this new feature.

Yes, the new version allows you to set the number of rows and columns of FB friend photos that are shown. The option allows for 2, 3, or 5 columns which is 368px, 466px, or 740px wide, respectively.

Hope this helps!

I think the issue is that the module position your attempting to put it into is not wide enough to accommodate the 5 columns wide. Facebook creates the invite html specific to your page and takes your 'recommendations' for rows and cols, but adjusts them according to what is possible on your page.

Can you try putting it in a different module position that should resize to the whole page width (not just the content width which is less since it includes the sidebar)? User7 looks as though it should work, as long as nothing is in user8, user9, or user10.

Right now, the module is published in User1 at the top of your page, so I can't see the issues you mention when it's published in user7. Let me know if this is still a problem.

I'm unable to see the 'refresh' issue. If there's some way to recreate that, let me know. When I go to your page, if I hit "Connect with FB", it logs me in, remains on the same page (with the invite module) and it loads as expected.

As for the 5 columns, I don't have much good news to tell you. According to their documentation, 5 cols should work. Technically, there's not even an option for 4. However, in their demo picture, and in our testing, we can get the 5 col option to work either, it sets it to 4. We'll keep testing, but there isn't a way to override this, we're at the hands of Facebook on this one. If we figure something out, we'll definitely update the module and post back here.

Documentation of the friend selector. Specifically, look at the 'cols' definition:
