I've tried in my syte (<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="www.giocosudoku.com">www.giocosudoku.com) and in your JFBInvite demo too and the information bar show saying that Internet Explorer updated the page to prevent potential script attack... All what is rendered is an #, even if you run the page in compatibility mode.
Really strange, because the picture and the logged user (from JFBConnect) display perfectly...
Any ideas? ;)

No, we'll check it out with IE8 and let you know what we figure out and/or release a patch if necessary. That's not good <!-- s:evil: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_evil.gif" alt="" title="Evil or Very Mad" /><!-- s:evil: -->

This is the best thing you can do. I did this for a client on another script and it solved the problem. Just put a little WARNING notice up in the module that explains what to do until a fix is found for it.

Due to a new "Feature" in Internet Explorer 8 -- the Invite your friends feature may not work until you perform the following action on Internet Explorer 8.

To disable Cross Site Scripting (XSS/CSS) in Internet Explorer 8...

Go to Tools
Internet Options
Select the Security Tab,
Click on the internet zone,
Click on custom level,
Under scripting, Disable XSS filter
Refresh or Restart the browser

This will now allow the invite function to work as designed.

This is not a solution. This issue needs to be addressed. You have yet to fix this in the past 6 months.
