Hello, i recently installed the comment module but i have (different) joomla positions so i cannot add this module to position right below an article as i'd like to.

so my question is wouldn't it be possible to develop a plugin instead of a module?

We'll be releasing Content plugins for Like, Share, and Comment soon as this is a common request. Our long-goal is end of the month, we're hoping to have them out sooner than that though.

this would be perfect. in this case the plugin has more sense.
do you think is complicated to enhance compatibility also with eventlist? its a very common component and i don't think this option could be much different.

Yup. We realize they're important too, but didn't think it was worth delaying 3.0.0 for it.

Are you talking about JomSocial eventlist, another component, something from Facebook.. or.. something else? What would you like to see? Comments on events?

Just trying to ascertain what you're looking for. Most likely, we'll make a content plugin, and then, from that, we'll try to make sure it works with our (free) Content Plugins Everywhere plugin which breaks content plugins out of being article only.

Either way, let us know, we love feedback on how to make JFBConnect and it's modules better.

eventlist by shlu
www.schlu.net/
this component is already supported by jomsocial, sh404, xmap, acymailing, acesef.

As will be possible to comment articles so will be interesting to comment published events.

I suggest to make one single plugin where is possible to FLAG the following options:
-Show i like button
-Show comment box
-Show share link
the i like button is proper to show after the H1contentheading
then the comments at the end of the article (IMHO)

The 3.0.2 release pushed things back a little, but we're focusing on these plugins (as well as some minor fixes to the modules).

Sorry for the delay, and thanks for your patience.

We released a new JFBCContent plugin yesterday for adding Comments and Like functionality to your site's articles. In addition, we've released a new version of the JFBCSocial plugin as well, which is required for the content plugin to function. Again, we're sorry for the delay. Please download these and let us know if you have any suggestions for improvement going forward. Thanks!
