I read in another post about Auto Publish and it looks like it is being considered. With such a great tool already, I am very surprised it is not already part of it considering the emphasis on Social Integration. Auto Publish There are many that already support it, so when is it likely to be a part of your solution?

Thanks,

Robert

Robert,
The feature is being worked on right now. There's 2 stages in which it will be released:
1) The next major release (in mid/late February) will allow you to setup 'Channels' to post content too (Facebook Pages, Facebook Groups, Twitter Feeds). On the front-end, an admin will have an option on every page to push that page to any of the social channels you've created. You'll be able to add a message, check a box for any of the channels and hit 'Post'. It should be easy and work with any URL (so therefore any component).

2) The following major release (likely in April/May) will have a auto-posting system that will use the 'channels' configured above. We'll have a plugin system so any component can be used to automatically push content, and that initial release will definitely have a few plugins for some of the popular extensions out there so you can setup auto-posting from them.

The reason we're implementing it in that order is because we'll always recommend using the first option. It allows the admin to have more control over the post (the included message, the timing of the post) as well as working with every URL on your site. The second option will need some specific support for each extension, but we'll be making the plugin development for that as easy as possible so that we (or other developers) can develop them.

I hope that helps explain,
Alex
