Here is what I am wanting to do. I have a blog that has a commenting section that I want to sync with my Facebook Fan Page. An example of EXACTLY what I am looking for is here...

www.bassfoundations.com/uncategorized/te...comment-on/#comments

Can your component do something similar?
Basically, I want people to able to post a comment on the website (without them being logged into Facebook) and the comment be posted to my Facebook Fan Page as a comment for that exact Facebook post. In addition I would like them to be able to leave a comment on my Facebook page and the comment sync with the comments on my website for the specific comment.

FYI - In the integration shown above new comments from the site are immediately posted to the appropriate Facebook post. Comments from Facebook have about a 3-5 minute delay before they are posted to my site.

I know the implementation shown above is for a WordPress site, but it proves that it can be done. Just want to know if your component/plugin can do the same. If it can, you have a customer for life!

Alex,
No, JFBConnect will not currently do what you're looking for. Right now, you'd need to add some custom code to link comments to your Facebook Page and we don't have any sort of non-Facebook comment system built in. So, you'd need a Joomla comment system to start with, and then a little bit of code which can push the comments from Joomla to your Page. The reverse would also be possible, but you'd need to understand the commenting component pretty well to have an automated import of comments.

So, if you have a developer, what your'e looking for is definitely possible, and we could help if they have questions. It's not something that's a flip of a switch though, and would take some time and work, though JFBConnect would make it easier.

Hope that helps explain,
Alex
