Profile pictures for Joomla users

Currently Joomla, out of the box, does not have profile pictures as a feature. We have the ability to add this functionality with extensions like "Community Builder, JomSocial, K2, etc" but there is nothing lightweight that does only profile pictures.

JFBConnect and JLinked allow users to register and log on to Joomla based sites using their existing accounts at Facebook and Linkedin and will even import their profile pictures from those sites but if you do not use JomSocial it will not be of any use. I would like to make a request to Alex to consider developing an extension for Joomla that will allow for user profile pictures and work in conjuction with JFBConnect and JLinked also even on its own. As this functionality does not exist many, many Joomla site owners would likely have a great interest in this. It would also be a great way to get customers to buy your other two products.

Please consider this for future development. I think if you put a poll out to your clients you would get positive feedback on this. Couldn't hurt to find out.
