Terms & Conditions was created by H4mish
Hi Team,

I use Jomsocial for my site and use the FB Connect function from Jomsocial which kind of does the job. What I desperately need is to have the user accept the Terms Conditions before signing in. I can imagine this is important for most sites to define who's liable for what.

I've read in a different post that this is in the works but i'd like to withhold subscribing until it's available, do you have any idea when that'll be.

Your support seems to be great or do you weed out all the nasty ones :)

Best Regards,
Gareth

To start, we've never deleted an unhappy post. There are a few in the forums, but as you know, not many. We try to respond to questions fast, and frankly, after over 2 years of development, it's pretty darn solid, so most posts are for new features.. not for bugs.. which makes it hard for the poster to be too upset :)

As for your question, it's being worked on, but I can't give a specific release date. Right now, we're focusing on a profile plugin for Virtuemart, after which we'll be focusing on the JomSocial plugin to add support for profile types (let the user select and see the fields on registration for that profile type). It's for that release that we'll likely be adding the Terms/Conditions thing because 1) it's asked for a lot and 2) JomSocial doesn't do it. We like adding features they don't have yet! :)

The VirtueMart plugin is targetted for the end of this weekend, and if that goes smoothly (which nothing with VM ever seems too), that means that the JS plugin will likely be updated next week.

Hope that all helps, and good luck!

Thanks for the quick, precise answer.

Didn't expect you to be starting so soon on the T&Cs (if VM allows that is), can't wait to get started. I'll be watching the updates closely you must be on to a winner with this kind of update.

Hi Alex,

I've just subscribed, taking advantage of the 30 day money back guarantee.
Which plugin will be changed to accept the Terms and Conditions and how will I know when it's been implemented.
