Facebook login dont work

I just tried using the Facebook login button from the JomSocial home page. After clicking it, the popup appeared and I was redirected to what looked like the PayPlans selection page.

When you say "nothing happens", what does that mean? Are you left on the same page, are you going to the PayPlans page, or something else?

My account wasn't created, but we haven't used PayPlans before. I'm not sure what's happening there, but I'm also not sure what you're trying to do.

How is the user being redirected to PayPlans in the first place is what I don't understand. It seems like something is intercepting our registration flow and redirecting to PayPlans before we're able to create the user.

Do you have some sort of plugin or setting somewhere that's forcing the user to PayPlans? If you could describe that setup more, that would help us understand what may be going wrong.

Generally, JFBConnect should be configured to automatically register the user and then you can have the New User Redirection set to the PayPlans package page. From there, the new user can select their package and signup. They will have already been registered though.

JFBConnect currently doesn't support the registration flow your looking for. We support using JomSocial for letting the user register using that registration flow. You can enable that with the following settings in the JFBConnect -> Configuration area:
* Registration Component = JomSocial
* Enable Automatic Registration = No
That will redirect the user to JomSocial's registration page after they try to login with a social network.

Unfortunately, we don't have any built-in support for PayPlans or JSPT right now, so I'm not sure what's going on there. I'm still unsure how the user is being redirected to PayPlans in the first place. It's possible with the settings above that you may be able to get things to work. I know PayPlans has some integration for JFBConnect, which you can find here .

We are also planning to add PayPlans integration in a future release, but I don't have a timeline on when that would be available.

Trying to login with Facebook, I'm brought to the following page:
/component/xipt/?view=registration

Do you have a plugin that is redirecting the user to the XIPT registration page? If so, that's what's causing the issue. In general, JFBConnect performs it's registration process and there can't be another plugin that's interrupting or hijacking the registration flow. If there is a XIPT system redirect plugin, or some other method that redirects all new users to the XIPT profile selection page, please try disabling it and see if the Facebook registration flow works properly.

If not, or you have any other problems, please feel free to Private Message me admin credentials for your site. We'll gladly take a look to see if we can determine what is causing the redirection and preventing the standard JFBConnect registration process from finishing.
