Hello Alex,
Thank you very much for your response. I followed your instructions and made the changes.
1. I unchecked the built in facebook object on the object.
2. I understood it to be that on the action section of jfbconnect I should change "yyyyyy_xx:comment?" to just "comment".

I made these changes and I still the activity log is empty. Can you please clarify if I am missing another step?
Thank you,

That should be all that's necessary from the images you sent. Would it be possible to send us administrator credentials to see everything configured on your site and investigate further? From the pictures you sent and changes you said you made, that should do it. If not, something else is going wrong, but I can't tell what from the information I see above.

If you can't send credentials, we can still provide suggestions to investigate, but it will be somewhat of a guessing game.

Thanks,
Alex

I received your email. When you created my credentials in the admin area, they were automatically mailed to me since you used my email address.

On your site, I can't find where I can comment to test things. I tried a few posts where commenting had been disabled by the author. Then, I found a post that had the text:

COMMENTS

No comments made yet. Be the first to submit a comment

I'm not sure if I'm just crazy or what, but I can't see anywhere to comment.

I did access the administration area though and looked at your configuration. Your 'comments' action still had the "Built-in Facebook Action" box checked, so I disabled that. Beyond that, all your settings in EasyBlog and JFBConnect seemed correct. Without being able to test to see any errors though, I can't determine what may be preventing the action from submitting.

If you can enable commenting, or let me know how/where I can do it, I'll gladly test further.

Thanks,
Alex

Hello Alex,
I deleted your account by mistake but approved your second one. I hope it works.
Can you please delete the part of our url from your previous post, that will be very much appreciated.
I enabled the comments and I think it will work now.
Please let me know if you need further details.
Thank you for your support,

I deleted the URL in the previous post. I left the domain off intentionally, but understand the desire for privacy.

I just went to the same post as before and still can't see a way to leave a comment. I just see the text at the bottom:

COMMENTS
No comments made yet. Be the first to submit a comment

Is there something specific I should do to leave a comment?

Have you tested comments to see if they are posting to Facebook now?

Thanks,
Alex

I did get your message. Sorry for the delayed response. The video shows that you enabled comments and can create one. I see that no comment was posted in the Activity Log from the video. However, none of it really helps me diagnose things.

I just tried to login to the admin area again, but the new account I created doesn't have administrator access, so I can't re-check the settings or diagnose what may be wrong now. Everything on the front-end still 'seems' correct. The post has an Open Graph type of "article". Beyond that though, I can't see how the action is configured or test on my own since comments are again disabled.

Can you make me a super admin again and tell me how I can enable comments? That way, I can see and test all at the same time.

Thanks,
Alex
