The different Facebook objects are defined on this page under "Object Types":
developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/opengraph#object-type

For Joomla, the most common is "article".

All objects you use should have the 'Facebook Built-In Object" box checked since Facebook doesn't allow custom objects (your own defined objects just for your website) to be created anymore.

I hope that helps,
Alex

Thank you,

So n on easysocail actions or easyblog actions, I do not see any postion if I'm reading the article form easyblog, should it trigger it?

Return back to VKontakte, should be possible to add it to the existing channels?

Rgs,

To trigger an action that you're reading the post, you will need to create a custom action with the following:
* Action "news.reads"
* Built-in FB Action - checked
* Automatic Actions - Action Type should be set to On Page Load
* Appropriate object associations for your posts

They're likely not registering with social network credentials, but instead using normal Joomla registration. JFBConnect has nothing to do with this and it's a common problem in Joomla. There are existing tools and extensions to help with this, such as Captcha during registration. On our sourcecoast.com website, we use an extension called SpambotCheck (found on the JED ) to help with this.

That would be very unique. Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about this as Facebook does it's own policing for users and generally is very good at preventing fake / spammy accounts from being created.

What stats are you talking about? Specifically, I'd recommend going into the JFBConnect -> Usermap area and confirming that the accounts you think are spammy are listed in there. Again, there's not much we can do, but I'm a bit surprised if you're getting a large amount of social network logins that are spammy.

Aslo Alex mentioned that you are going to add vk channel, could you please advise when it is due?

This is on our to-do list for investigation and implementation, but we don't currently have a timeline for it's release.

Thanks,
Alex

Can you explain how you set things up for the autoposting to your account when you read your blog?

I'm assuming you're using the Open Graph - Actions feature. If so, you should be able to see what JFBConnect has tried to post in the Open Graph - Activity area in the admin section. When JFBConnect auto-posts that to your feed, it goes into your Activity Log. That doesn't mean it will show up prominently in your feed. You can view your full Activity Log when you go to your Facebook profile and click the "Activity Log" button.

Facebook has greatly decreased how often it will show content like "Read an article" on an actual feed because it considers that much lower value that a user going out of their way to actually share a blog post.

I hope that helps explain,
Alex

Hi Alex,

Activity log is empty, it is clearly does not work. I have attached the screenshots from Action and Object settings.
Please let me know how to fix it, as I am not quite sure what I have done wrong.
