Content plugin was created by denttransformer

When JFB content plugin is enabled my website home page shows a hundred little facebook icons in the center of the page. Any ideas why ?Home page website

This is because your template has a background style set for the "facebook class". Since the content plugin has the Facebook class on our Like/Share widget, they are inadvertently getting the style. You can add the following to your CSS:

.sourcecoast.facebook {
background:none;
}

This should get you going, but let me know if you continue to have problems.

Thanks for the reply, do you know which CSS file folder ? I just went through most of them and can't find this code yet, 12 CSS files to search through

You can put that style in the /media/sourcecoast/css/jfbconnect.css file. I have checked in the new style to be included in the next JFBConnect release.

Thanks, too late I already gave up and asked for a refund. Love to have this extension and reach out to thousands of my customers via social media but I don't have time to edit files. I just want to plug and play. It took me hours to get this to the point its at but with the way it is, the extension ruins my pages.

Hi Mel;

I had to go through all of my pages with a source code editor, then find jfbconnect.css through my Cpanel file manager and it was well hidden. Then edit the CSS file to include the code below. My pages have gone back to there normal shape and color. But not having a secure website Https I'm not sure If I can even continue with this extension as planned as face book wants secure sites. My hosting for every domain is on a shared server. I will play around with it some more and see if any further issues and follow up.

The only features in JFBConnect that should require https are the Page tab and Canvas features. Other than that, I would not anticipate any problems for non-secure sites. However, if you find unusual behavior, please let us know.

Feel free to play around with JFBConnect to make sure there are no problems. However, I have already processed your refund request. So if you decide to continue using JFBConnect (and there is not a way for me to cancel the refund), then please re-purchase the subscription for your account.

Also Error showing up today, was fine yesterday, and facebook no longer connects

Facebook API Error: (#15) This method is not supported for native apps

Facebook Application configuration could not be loaded. Please check your App ID and Secret Key

I don't see a CSS problem for twitter when I load that link. Could you make sure you force a browser refresh and reload the page? If you're still seeing it, please take a screenshot for me and post it to this thread.

The first thing that I would do is suggest that you use our Autotune Configuration Tool in the JFBConnect backend. Going through the steps in the tool will show you if there are any possible warnings/errors with how you've configured your Facebook Application. If you see anything there, we'd suggest you fix the errors first. Then, if you're still encountering the Facebook login problems, we can go from there, but will have narrowed down the possible causes. Let me know what you find with Autotune.
