Another user reported a similar issue. They notified us that if they disable the jQuery inclusion option in JFBConnect, it resolved the conflict. We haven't looked any further into the issue since it was solved by the only other reporter.

JLinked was *not* upgraded to use jQuery, so it's likely not the culprit. It's likely the bootstrap or jQuery settings in JFBConnect that you want to play with.

I hope that helps get you started,
Alex

Yes yes -they where set to off as default in your beta Version (it should be like that - most templates are loading all that anyway) but in you latest updated stable version they where set to yes - all is well now :P

Iveth,
We never actually defaulted the jQuery and Bootstrap options to off, and we won't do that going forward. Because the 'default' Joomla template does not load jQuery, we pretty much have to default those settings to on since many users are testing with base Joomla. If they move to a template that has jQuery, they are hopefully aware of that and will be able to disable our inclusion manually.

I'm glad you got it going though, and should you need anything else with this, just let me know.

Thanks,
Alex

Iveth,
The problem is that the "You are now being logged in using Facebook" popup isn't working. The cause of that is that the Bootstrap Javascript isn't being included on the page for some reason. Can you check that the "Include Bootstrap" setting is enabled? You can find that in the Configuration -> Misc area of JFBConnect.

The other option is to disable the "Show 'logging in' popup" setting in JFBConnect to not display that message. This is probably the safest option as it won't add any more Javascript to the page, causing more conflicts, but you'll be missing that popup feature.

I hope that helps,
Alex

You are right -eliminating (set it to no) You are now being logged in using Facebook" popup isn't working - only when also Bootstrap is enabled then it is all working fine - but the Jlinked login does not - the login button is all dead - What can be done here?

Glad that helped get Facebook working. For LinkedIn, the JLinkedSystem plugin doesn't seem to be enabled as the JLinked Javascript isn't being included on the page.

Can you check that it's enabled?

Thanks,
Alex
