Hello,

At a few opening hours official of our site, I very reinstalled because of a problem of right.
So I profited to put the new version of joomla (2.5.11), the new version of joomsocial (2.8.4.1), and the version of JFBConnect (5.0.0).

All is quite functional on the level as of registrations, of connections via facebook, manual connections. On the other hand, if a bad user, or a bad password is inserted, that causes an error 500.I do not know if I forgot to activate a plugin, or if I did not make a misconfiguration, but, I noticed that this error appears with this URL: /component/users/? task=user.login&Itemid=normally, I should have this URL: component/users/? view=login.

I do not remember any more or and how to choose the engine of management of the users.

Thank you very much.

Can you post a URL to a page with the login module where we can try entering a 'bad' password and see whats happening?

Also, can you let us know:
* Do you have Community Builder installed? (I'm assuming not, since you have JomSocial)
* Are you using any SEF extensions (AceSEF, sh404SEF, etc)?

Thanks,
Alex

You can connect yourselves on our site of test: pre-prod.beloteux.eu

I use neither community bulder, nor SEF extensions.

On the other hand, the native SEF of joomla is activated, and the Rewriting with the “flight” of the URL also.

That should not pose problem since we had made the test on another URL with which it went well.

Jérémy,
That page is in Offline Mode. Are you seeing this problem when the site is online, or just in that mode? If it's only in that mode, I'm not sure what the cause would be. JFBConnect doesn't alter the 'standard' login module in any way and doesn't touch the Offline Mode functionality either.

Let me know how I should test to recreate or why you think JFBConnect is the cause and we'll gladly look into the matter further.

Thanks,
Alex

hello,

The site is not yet in production, therefore it was in mode off line.

To carry out work there, I passed it online.
You can thus make your tests.
I would pass by again it in off line in a few hours.

thank you in advance.

ps : l'adresse réelle est www.beloteux.eu

I just tried and I can see the 500 error you mention. However, I don't think that's being caused by JFBConnect at all. The login form your using is trying to submit to:
component/users/?task=user.login&Itemid=

I can see that in the form's code, it looks like:
<form action="/component/users/?task=user.login&amp;Itemid=" method="post" name="form-login" id="form-login">
I don't know why the action URL looks like that, but it's not correct and likely your problem. I'd recommend re-installing that module or switching to the SCLogin or even standard Joomla Login module (and add the {JFBCLogin} tag to it).

I hope that helps get you started. If you narrow it down to being a problem with JFBConnect, we'll gladly help further, but I don't see how JFBConnect would be causing that.

Thanks,
Alex

Hello Alexander.

Thank you for this answer.
I thus made a research on this subject to know the cause exactly has this problem. I cannot affirm that this problem comes from JFBConnect, but it appeared after its installation.

I made the test with the 3 modules different of login, and I arrive at the same result That it is with the module joomla or SCLogin I have this error 500.

I have an address of test (www.boudry.org) or I carried out my tests before the publication and all functions correctly. On the other hand, the version of joomla is 2.5.9, and now I am into 2.5.11is this the cause?

I am comparing the file of the 2 different site with winmerge to possibly find the error.

So of your with dimensions you have a track, I am taking

I do not know if there is a link of cause has effect, but I have to note with the opening of the site another anomaly, when his statute is changed, it does not have there more push towards facebook.

I think that I will reinstall all the modules of jomsocial and of jfbconnect!
