I recevied notice the new JFBConnect 4.3.3 version was available.
The upgrade for it is gone well.
Together that I was alerted about:
- JFBCComment module
- JFBCRaccomandationsbar mudule
- Content plugin
- Custom plugin

But, trying to upgrade through joomla updater I have back the error message:
Unknown Archive type
Update path does not exist
JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file
Unable to detect manifest file

What am I missing ?

May be can help:
Investigating on Extension Manager: Warnings I found that:
- The PHP temporary directory is not set
- Small PHP file upload size - The maximum file size for uploads is set to less than 2MB which may impact on uploading large extensions.

Many Thanks

All of the modules and plugins can be updated through the Joomla Updater. The main component needs to be either upgraded using the built-in updater from the JFBConnect Overview page or by re-downloading the zip package from the download area of this site and re-installing like it was a new extension.

Hope that explains, but if you're still having issues, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

Well,

The main component needs to be either upgraded using the built-in updater from the JFBConnect Overview page

Where ?
I have upgraded it, but really, right now I don't remeber where I clicked!
However, as you can see, it seem to be upgraded

As I wrote updating I have back this error message:

Right now, if I purge, find updates, now joomla find 3 instead of 4 updates and I have back this error message:

Don't worry about the last message that says "Could not open XML file". That's an issue we're looking into, but it because you can't update the component through the Updater, so that's normal.

The other 3 extensions should be able to be updated. Can you check the boxes next to those 3 and hit the "Update" button to see what happens when you update them? Try to update each one individually if you still get errors and let us know any messages you see.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,
sorry for my bad English. As I wrote you:

Looking into JFBConnect -> Oveview and Open Graph I'm alerted about 4 updates available:
- JFBCComment module
- JFBCRaccomandationsbar mudule
- Content plugin
- Custom plugin

So, I go to Extension Manager -> Update, I "Purge Cache", then "Find Updates" and joomla find 3 instead of 4 updates and I have back this error message:
File Attachment:

Then I try to update the 3 updates found and I have back this second error message for each update (the same message for the 3 updates):
File Attachment:

Finished, If I return into JFBConnect -> Oveview and Open Graph I'm still alerted about the 4 updates available:
- JFBCComment module
- JFBCRaccomandationsbar mudule
File Attachment:

and
- Content plugin
- Custom plugin

joomleb,
Sorry for all the confusion. We had another report of the Joomla Updater reporting the same problems and were able to narrow things down a lot more. The updater should work now and properly update. For more information on the problem, see the post below:
