Eoin,
I'm not sure what your message above means. When is that error happening? When you say the page is going to 'our' website, do you mean sourcecoast, or some other site? None of the links you mention above show any website.. you seem to have scrubbed them, but that makes it more difficult for us to understand what's happening.

Just so you know, JFBConnect does not have any code whatsoever that should redirect to sourcecoast at all. In no case do we ever 'fall back' or force a redirection of any sort to our site, so if it's going to a site of ours, something on your end would have to have been configured to do so.

Please let us know how (and where) to recreate/test the issue. Specifically, do we just visit the page? Do we have to try to login? Is it in a canvas view? Etc. Any details will help.

Thanks,
Alex

Sorry the link does not go to your website. It goes here
https://component/jfbconnect?task=loginFacebookUser&return=Lw==&cb=1348226889751

Which is not a website at all. I think it's since I added in https to my site.

It happens as soon as I log on (as I am already logged into Facebook), it says "logging on with Facebook credentials) and then goes to that link which is nothing.

Sorry here is the page you can see it uglyfashionmedia.com

Hope that helps. it's all updated to the latest version, as is Joomla. It's quite an urgent matter for me.

Thanks.

Eoin,
That's definitely not something we've seen before and I'm not sure of the exact cause. First off, the following page is returning a 403 error. That needs to be fixed and *could* be the cause of the problem:

uglyfashionmedia.com/components/com_jfbc...sets/jfbcchannel.php

Beyond that, can you check that you have re-run Autotune since you added the SSL certificate and make sure that your domain, Web URL, and all other settings match the recommendations? Also, is it possible to disable SSL temporarily and try on the non-SSL site to see if that works? That will help narrow things down.

When the page loads, we insert some Javascript on the page for the variable "jfbc.base". That is getting set correctly. We use that value in our jfbconnect.js file to set the redirection to the loginFacebookUser page that you're seeing. Somewhere in there, the value is either getting removed, corrupted, or somehow changed. Again, I've never seen that before, so if the above doesn't work or narrow things down, we'll have to investigate more.

Let us know what you find!

Thanks,
Alex

I did the autotune and it did make some changes. Which I accepted.

Still no joy. Have also updated it using akeeba which seemed round work and was good.

Should I try reinstalling it again manually?

I redirected www to nonwww for ssl certificate reasons. Could that have done it? I can test that by deleting .access

You can reinstall JFBConnect, but it likely won't do anything. The file I mentioned above still isn't loading, which is an important file for bi-directional communication with Facebook. Can you look into the permissions of that jfbcchannel.php file and determine why the server won't load it? That really needs to be the first thing fixed and after that works, I'd try again without SSL if it's still not working.

I've removed .htaccess. That gives me a new error message which is:
uglyfashionmedia.com/component/jfbconnec...w==&cb=1348496989321

on that page. Still a 404 but at least it's on my domain now. However, I do want my .htaccess files in there again, so I need to work out which lines are messing it up.

I also need the component working.
