Hi,

In the Autotune section I keep getting this message : Facebook API Error: error setting certificate verify locations: CAfile: /etc/pki/tls/certs/ca-bundle.crt CApath: none

Haven't heard of that message before. Sounds like something on the server isn't configured correctly for making outgoing SSL requests (required for communication with Facebook). One thing you can try is exiting Autotune, going into the JFBConnect Configuration -> Facebook API tab and disabling the SSL Verification setting there. I don't remember the exact name. Once disabled, secure communication (ssl) will still happen, there will just be one less check on the link which reduces security a little bit.

Try that. If it doesn't help, I'd have to refer you to your server host to fix the problem. I can give you more information on what you need to tell them though.

Hope that helps,
Alex

Then I feel a little stuck and dont really know what to do next.... can you point me to some Docs to step by step set up the whole system ?

Then I have another Question - My Login using Facebook doesn't quite work the way it did on the Demo...
It takes me to a Page that States :
Welcome Terence!
Thanks for signing in using Facebook. Do you already have an account on this site, or would you like to create one?
On the Demo site it pulled in the Facebook Data the second I allowed it....

Ok I got it to not take me to that Page but still no info is pulled in.... Is it because i need an SSL ?

GOT IT! :D
Every field is to to be set in the Config.... Now I want my fields like your demo... is there any quick way to do it or would I need to do 1 by one and with the same Field Code as yours ?

Uriel,
Sorry for the delay. Sounds like you're making progress, but I'll answer all the questions, cause I'm not sure where exactly you got :D

* For full configuration information, see the JFBConnect Configuration Guide
* To have the account automatically created (no login/registration forms), set the Registration Mode in the Configuration area of JFBConnect to "Automatic Registration"
* You don't need an SSL certificate on your site for profile information to be imported.
* Finally, yes, you'd need to manually set the field-mappings for how you want the information imported. It can be tedious, but it gives you the flexibility to import user information into your own fields as you see fit.

Hope that all helps, but certainly if you need more information or help, just let us know!

Thanks,
Alex

The only fields we support are generally text-type fields. Some of our profile plugins do support some additional fields, like birthday or URLs, but I'm not sure what extension you're importing into, so I can't get more specific than text-fields.

We don't, and can't, support select type fields (radio buttons, checkboxes, drop-downs) because the fields from Facebook are usually free-form. Therefore, what Facebook returns is almost certainly not going to fit into the definitions you've provided for the options of that field.

Hope that makes sense, but if not, just let us know!
