Dont receive E-Mail notification for new comments ?

Can you check the Mailer type you have configured in the Global Configuration -> Server tab? We've been told by some users that PHPMailer works while other selections don't. We're investigating the cause, but don't have a better suggestion right now. Hopefully the PHPMailer setting will work for you.

Can you post (or private message) a URL to a page with the comment box on it? Also, if you wouldn't mind, feel free to add me as a receiver of notifications: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

That way, I can test and see if anything comes through.. you may get some extra notifications while I'm testing.. just so you know

We're looking into the issue now. It's looking like there's a change required in the Mootools AJAX call we're making to process the new Comment or Like. This is a 1.6/1.7 specific issue, and we seem to have just missed it in our testing.

We'll let you know when we have a fix.

Sorry I didn't get back to this thread sooner. We released JFBConnect 3.4.1 late last week which has a fix for comment notification in Joomla 1.6+. If you're using 3.4.1 and still having issues, let us know, but the new release should fix you right up.
