Removing the all.js fix that too, thanks. However there is another problem from one specific url, when you try to login from the main product page it gives a "not found" error.
See it here: www.coleinstruments.com/Products.html
the error is "The requested URL /Products.html7 was not found on this server."
I look forward for the admin fix too.

Ronen,
I'm definitely seeing how Products.html7 is being redirected to. Somehow, JFBConnect thinks that that's the page it's on. Can you try the following:
1) Clean your cache (doubtful this will do anything): Help->Clean Cache
2) In sh404SEF (I think that's what you're using) search for any URLs on your site with the name Products.html7. If it's found, you probably should delete that SEF URL so that it's not used when anything tries to figure out the SEF route for a page.

I should be on the site later tonight to look at the admin thing, and if you haven't tried the above, I can probably try then as well.

Thanks,
Alex

No such URL in sh404sef, i searched and it's not in the url manager...not even in the error manager.
Cleaning the cache didn't help either.

Ronen,
I'm a bit clueless right now why the page is generated with a 7 in it. When I disable sh404, the URL comes up properly with the non-SEF url. I don't know where our generation of the current URL is going wrong, because we simply ask Joomla for the proper URL of the page (which then asks sh404).

You may want to try simply creating a redirection/alias in sh404 to redirect that page to the proper products.html page.

Finally, for the admin area, I have no clue what happened to your K2 installation, but I disabled 2 K2 modules that show up in the control panel, and that made it start working again.

Hope this helps,
Alex

Meant to mention them in the previous post, sorry about that:
K2 QuickIcons (admin)
K2 Stats (admin)

Both were, obviously, in the Admin tab of the module mananger. Not sure if both needed to be disabled, so one may work, but didn't feel like tinkering too much.

hi

can you put up a demo site of how virtuemart and JFBConnect works together? I'm interested but I need to see how complicated is the registration process for end users.

Wen,
The JFBConnect Demo site is the best example you'll see. While VirtueMart isn't installed on that site, the registration flow for it is the same. The demo site is setup with the Full Registration flow, so after you click the Login With Facebook button, you'll be brought to a page where you can log in with an existing Joomla user account (to associate it to your Facebook one), or the ability to register a new account. If you choose the 2nd option, you simply have to fill out your desired username and password as well as any Virtuemart fields that you may ask of the user that aren't being imported.

On the demo site, we import the user's location and likes and a bunch of other fields automatically into JomSocial and Community Builder, but the effect is the same with Virtuemart.

The other registration flow of automatic registration (used on sourcecoast.com) where a Joomla account is created automatically is not available when you're using Virtemart integration. That's because to create a Virtuemart user and add them to a shopper group, their full profile must be filled out. Since many times there are fields that can't be imported from Facebook (mainly zipcode) that are required by Virtuemart, you need to use the 2-step registration flow of JFBConnect to get that information.

Hope that all makes sense, but if you have other questions, just let us know. We also have a 30-day money back guarantee for just these types of testing purposes so you can see if JFBConnect is really an ideal fit for your site!

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex

Thanks for reply.

So for virtuemart user they just need to fill in the extra registration form once and for future login they can login with just 1 step using their facebook account? do they login with facebook username and password or do they login with the new virtuemart username and password?

for checkout purchase is it also 1 step login?

by the way is there a bug in this forum login? I login with my facebook account and I got a blank pop up window with every login. I'm using IE8.
