Topic-icon Can't install JFBConnect on J5

I have a fresh J5 install and I wanted to install SCLogin and JFBC.
SCLogin installed just fine from the web installer.
JFBC can't be installed from the web installer and is too big to install via upload.

I tried to install it via folder and copied the zip archive to the tmp folder of my site. When I try to install it I get the attached message:

I suppose I could try to unzip it on the server and see if it finds whatever it's looking for that way, but I don't think that should be necessary so I wanted to ask first.

Thanks!

Please try editing your php.ini file and updating it to these settings
upload_max_filesize="6M"
post_max_size="6M"

After you make the changes and restart Apache, please go to the System -> System Information -> PHP Information section in the Joomla Admin area. Then, search for the values you updated "upload_max_filesize" and "post_max_size". Please make sure that is at the 6M value you specified above to make sure the values took effect and then try the installation again.

Hmm. I'm not able to reproduce that issue in 5.0.1. I created a folder on my test J5 site in /tmp/com_jfbconnect_v9.1.55 and unzipped to it. The install from folder worked fine for me.

I don't know if there is something else different about my hosting. Now that it's installed though I don't want to reinstall on top of it for testing.

Understandable. I haven't had any other reports of this behavior, but I'll keep an eye out for it.
