Topic-icon Understanding JFBConnect SClLogin Module Access Redirect Logic with Master / Sla

We touched on this question before and now that I have support from an amazing joomla  web development CMS Junkie.  I thought it was important to readdress what we are trying to achieve.

What I'm working with is a number of Industry Master sites and each Master site can have a number of slave sites that come from that one master.

For example we have a master site called Community Marketplace that is primarily a business directory www.communitymarketplace.ca

And a couple of Slave sites examples would be:
www.LegionBranch43.ca & www.CondoDCC56.com
All these sites use the same database for Jomsocial and CMSJunkie Business Directory.

THE ASK :
I would like to be able to log into the job social hello me or SJ login as a module from Legion branch43.ca and upon Authentication be redirected to the group of the Legion Branch 43.ca

legionbranch43.ca/index.php?option=com_c...=viewgroup&groupid=1

Similarly if I were on condodcc56.com I'd like to be able to log in and be redirected to that group. condodcc56.com/index.php?option=com_comm...=viewgroup&groupid=2

I'd like to know if the Authentication can come from one account such as Community Marketplace for all the socials and use individual SCLogin or jomsocial HELLO ME modules to get the correct login and redirect for specific slave site group or Slave site destination page?

ALSO : you can see here JFBConnect and Jomsocial integrated toegher can you please remind me how to do this : prnt.sc/C6y_76f_jeLV

Chris,
I apologize for the delayed response. You and many others have been waiting on a reply and, unfortunately, we had some server issues that prevented us from fully seeing the forum posts here.

I'm glad to hear you have a Joomla developer helping you onboard. As this post is a few months old, I can respond quickly, but it's probably best to give an update as to where exactly you are in development and integration.

Generally speaking, JFBConnect creates and authenticates 100% standard Joomla users. So, if you already have primary and secondary sites working together for moving users from one site to the other, JFBConnect shouldn't introduce any new problems.

JFBConnect has a "Returning User Redirection" setting which can push the user to any menu item. I don't know how you have the primary/secondary sites setup, but if the menu items are visible in the primary site, you should simply be able to use that redirection setting to push them to the secondary site.

I hope this gives a helpful, although very belated, explanation. Please let me know how things are going and we'll help however we can.

Thanks,
Alex
