Hi guys,
during the ocial Registration process there are 4 issues that should be considered. Please, before take a look to the attached image, then:

1 -  To ask "Do you want to continue as “Social Network User” ?"
This confirmation question here is quite a must, consider the cases:
- User is registering from a computer other than his and the owner has not logout from the Social Network
- I have more than one account with that Social Network and I'm still logged for the browser
- I'm using Chrome browser where more than one Users are using it and accidentally I'm surfing with the wrong Logged user

2 - To ask "There is yet a User registered with the same email, Are you ? Do you want to connect to that User ?"
- Could be that the site permit more that one regitration and, for sure, Users still often make a lot of confusion registering more than one time to the same site because they "forget" etc. (Stil there are a lot of Users that are using a lot of different emails)

3 - "Is there a way to do not permit to the browser to pre fill Username and Password fields ?"
Considering:
- User is registering from a computer other than his and the owner has forgot to logout from the Browser
- (I'm using Chrome browser where more than one Users are using it and accidentally I'm surfing with the wrong user)
So, if there is a way to avoid the Browser feature to pre fill Username and Password field, would be a good thing to don't pre fill these fields, forcing the user to enter them manually

4 - Consequently in point 3, for consistency it would be good to add the Show / Hide function here to the Password field as by default on Joomla 4 and as already added in the SCLogin module

In this way, perhaps a process needs a few more clicks, but certainly in this way it is much safer, proof of mistakes, more protective of Privacy...

1) If you have Automatic Registration enabled, then a new account could be created for a user that's accidentally left logged into the browser.
If you, as the admin, wants to disable this behavior, you can. However, we know many, many admins want the registration and login process to be as streamlined as possible. Adding another prompt to the login process is the opposite of what most admins want and what JFBConnect tries to provide.

2) You can turn off automatic linking users by email address if this is a problem. The user will then be brought to the mini-registration flow where they can login with an existing account or create a new one.

3) This is against general web flow behavior and not something we'd implement. Browsers store usernames and passwords because it's a huge convenience and almost all websites allow pre-filling of this data. If we went against this, we'd have many unhappy admins asking why it doesn't work.
I understand this is on the login/register page, but as you noted above, many users have multiple emails. If they accidentally logged in with the wrong account, this helps them remember which account they should be using instead of creating a new account.

4) Where do we not show the show/hide field? On the login/register page? We can look into this.

Finally, I just looked at your Autotune history and see that your subscription expired some time ago. Can you please post from an account that you have an active subscription? We do prioritize responses to active subscribers, so please understand when we do not get back to you immediately without one.

Thanks,
Alex
